Barefoot

As usual he meets her again at the same place, a place he never knew of when he is not asleep but it still feels so real. She is in usual white gown, big brown dreamy eyes, lips with natural redness. She smiles at him from a distance of few footsteps and comes straight into his arms. He holds her face and her slightly warmer ears make his fingertips happy as he touches them, sense of completeness fills into his heart and happiness in eyes. She gets her lips closer to his ears and whispers the words he always wanted to hear in real life –

“Ah! I missed you so much!”

His heart pounds as if for the first time he heard her saying those words to him.

“I missed you too!”

They look into each other’s eyes, share smiles and walk parallel to the floating waves of sea, when the waves come and go kissing their bare feet every time.

“Is she still not talking?” She asks

“Nope!”

“She’s really out of her mind. Doesn’t she know that she’ll never find anyone like you?”

“I have no idea, why is she so heartless now. I only want her to talk for 10 minutes and I’ll sort every thing out.”

“I know that, you’re really good at it.”

“That poem did also not work na?”

“Nope, I’m not sure if she even read it.”

“She must have! I know.”

“Tell me what should I do to get her back?”

“How would I know?”

“Come on, It’s you in real world! Who else can tell me better, what should she be thinking, than you?”

“Oh darling, I really don’t have any idea.”

“Hmm… Can’t you go in her dreams and tell that I really need her?”

“It’s not possible. I can come only in your dreams. She’ll dream of some other part of her.. not me!”

“Oh!”

There is long silence and they keep walking until the alarm clock doesn’t get him up from the dream.
